Howard G. Worthy III was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on July 15, 1954. He attended North Cross High School and graduated in 1972. He then received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Roanoke College in 1976.

In 1977, Howard relocated to Virginia Beach, where he became engaged in the heavy construction industry. The following year, he relocated to Naples, Florida, still in the same industry, and remained in Naples until 2024.

In 1990, Howard wed Michel M. Progansky in Reading, Pennsylvania. They had a daughter, Morgan Adams Worthy, born on February 25, 2000.

Throughout his career, Howard has been involved in a number of businesses ventures and has a few patents to his name. Nonetheless, he could never have anticipated that one day, he would become an author. It wasn’t until his lovely wife, Michele, passed away that he needed to tell the tender journey, the incredible series of events, and the profound impact it had on his life.
